We are entering into the Golden Age of Opportunity, the
Greatest Entrepreneurial* Boom in History. (Perhaps we
are well into it already.) The Internet revolution is evolving
at a dizzying pace (in spite of the well publicised recent
demise of many high-profile corporate "dot.bombs/gones"!).
What we see today can be history next year or even
next week. And (can I begin a sentence with an "and")
five years... or even two years from now the Internet will
be quite different from that which most of us can imagine.
The "technological revolution", electronic commerce and
the Information Age offers a great opportunity for "the
little people" with imagination + vision to take on the
corporations and the giant countries, like the US and
Japan and make a DIFFERENCE in the world by HELPING
others with unique products and services to make people's
lives easier in some way. Through the amazing medium of
modern technology many people living in cities around the
world (and in our case) for people living in geographically
isolated communities near the bottom of this planet
can take on the world with minimum start-up capital and
miniscule advertising budgets.
I believe ANY person with the right attitude can succeed
in cyberspace. You don't even need capital, but desire,
persistence and imagination
- in "great heaps" to become successful.
The successful cyber entrepreneur of today could well be
the equivalent of the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, Kennedy's,
Paul Getty's and Henry Ford's of yesteryear, especially in
the new ENTREPRENEURIAL (nice big Word!) AGE,
which I believe, is even more important (and a more
appropriate term) than the Information Age.
The "net revolution" offers the "little guys", like you and
me, one of the greatest opportunities in history:
To BE AT THE FOREFRONT, the dawning of the new
CREATIVE AGE of ENTREPRENEURS...
and it is up to each one of us privileged to be "up there in
cyberspace to grasp this very precious moment ,
"this heartbeat in eternity".
What you do today could repay you a hundred-fold tomorrow
and there is just one rule:
As the Nike ad says, "Just GO FOR IT with all you've got...
and just DO IT."
