Anxiety relief

Anxiety is the single most important cause for a host of health problems, which leave us weak and vulnerable to a series of diseases and maladies. High levels of daily stress can contribute to an equally high level of anxiety among thousands of people. On the other hand, it is never easy to avoid tensions and stress from our daily life, as they are difficult to get rid from our mind. Thus it becomes a necessity to manage our stress and tension levels with some of the most innovative techniques. Anxiety relief usually comes from within us and our mental constitution. Anxiety relief measures also assure you that you're free from your stress and tensions.

There are several easy methods to manage our stress and anxiety levels:

1. Identifying all stress and anxiety triggering factors and seeking solutions to avoid them in the first place. By performing this evaluation exercise, you can also find out, if it is possible to find a cure all by yourself, without resorting to drugs and medications. Are there any particular triggering factors that affect you adversely? Jot down all those causative factors and rate them according to their level of influence. Once you have identified all those factors and indexed them, analyze them, one by one, to find out which of them need to be addressed first on a priority basis. You can solve each problem by finding out a suitable remedy; the basic idea is to make your mind seek practical solutions to anxiety. Often this solution needs your own active participation and involvement. You will need to make your mind not to respond to any of those negative triggering parameters.

But those triggering factors listed as important and high priority, may need a combination of self healing methods, counseling as well as medication. Anxiety relief in such cases is possible only with your hard work and perseverance. More often, serious anxiety is an offshoot of environmental factors and metal imbalance; it is also a byproduct of many years and such a buildup would not have been noticed by you at any time. Thus you will need to be serious while tackling an old episode of anxiety with a dedicated mind.

2. Finding out a practical cure for the problem, is an action part of the whole exercise. While anxiety relief is possible by resorting to drugs, medication and psycho-counseling, the role of natural anxiety relief measures can't be simply overlooked. There are many home grown and self healing anxiety relief measures available for you to try out. Some of them are:

a) Proper diet: Introduce more liquid into your diet. Avoid high sugar and high caffeine beverages.

b) Meditation and Yoga: Two of the oldest self healing techniques that involve your body and mind.

c) Exercises: Regular exercises will help you give vent to your stress and anxiety.

d) Alcohol: An intoxicant, which will excite your brain to be more active throughout the day and night. You may preferably avoid consuming alcohol or limit the consumption, if you're already hooked to it.

e) Sleep well: Nothing is as precious as a good night's sleep; try to get at least 7 hours of sleep every day

f) Family and Work Relationship level: How adoptable are you to family and work environment? Develop a "give and take" attitude to weed out family and workplace differences and quarrels, to reduce anxiety levels.

g) Reduce Anger: Manage your anger, as it is potentially a big trigger for increased anxiety levels.

h) Patience and Tolerance: Two of the well known positive traits that will help us to reduce anxiety levels. Though difficult to acquire these positive characters, add these parameters in your actions and thoughts.

Whatever the anxiety measures you choose to adopt, just remember one simple thing- anxiety relief is possible only with your active cooperation and involvement.
