Does chocolate cause acne? The answer is no. There have been studies recently done on this question and many dermatologists now agree that chocolate does not contribute to acne. This diet should include fresh fruits and vegetable and plenty of foods that include Vitamin A which is great for the skin. Certain fats are also good for the skin such as fish oil.

A good diet is important in the treatment against acne. You don't have to worry about the occasional candy bar causing a major outbreak. Although most dermatologists agree that a specific food doesn't cause acne, if you find that you are breaking out after eating a certain food, then stop eating that food, you may be having an allergic reaction.
